Good article here on Motley Fool because problems with Medicare can bite you in the butt if you don’t know about the coverage, options and limitations. I think planning for retirement should start 5-10 years before pulling the trigger. Planning for Medicare should start 1 year before you wrap up work and move over to the “golden years,” hopefully on your terms.
